A Window to Forgotten Audio Novelties

A group of people had been knocking on the door of my childhood home.  It had one of those bigger windows in it split into 6 small window blocks... so they can see in... I hadn't heard them knock and was on the couch watching TV.  Some movement of shadow and light caught the corner of my eye and I looked over to see the bunch peering in through the window.

Later I was with this same group walking down a retail strip... we passed a porn/toy novelty 2nd hand shop... the group was curious so we went in.. My cousin was with me and he was hesitant and nervous but followed in.  It was a hole in the wall shop filled with new trinkets and old collectables.  One of the junky trinkets was a pocket vibration thing that had multiple strings that fanned out each vibrated individually once you pushed them out of their cylinder housing... it was poorly made.  Next we opened this old dusty shelving and found old cassette tapes in there... I remember saying.. 'man I wish I had a tape deck... I'd love to hear what is on these unmarked tapes' - many of them had gotten good use.. some where damaged and the tape was loose and tangled around some of the other unwanted and forgotten plastic audio capsules... on the next shelf we found 2 old tape deck boom boxes and one was playing sounds without having had any power supply...
