Headline Worthy Orders, SATX

In another state for a weeks long training - seemed as though there was really only 1 good place to eat.  One of the  ladies in the class faxed over her food order on a presidential letter-headed paper - but the American flag logo in the oval was upside down.  I witnessed people in class made fun of her behind her back and it made me sick.

Although the orders were faxed in, we had to pick them up.. there was no delivery.  I had been once before and verbally tried to explain - others needed visuals - so the instructor drew on the whiteboard and on the floor.  It was off of a 4-5 lane freeway - you had to be in the lane for the San Antonio, TX exit.  He went on to explain that on the way back, this is one of the rare instances it's OK to cross 2 lanes of traffic at once, traffic permitting.   As he drew with his blue marker on the floor to demonstrate the lanes and the merge - I saw it in real life - and watched as a taxi did just that - 2 lanes at once to get over to where he needed.

The next day in the local newspaper - all of our faxed in order sheets were the headline story on the FrontPage - including the upside down logo next to one with the right side up logo.. 2 people in class had used the same letter heads.

Mine was the 6th one on the page - and there were multiple notes written on mine from others from work/the class....Bill was with me and I showed him... something about my order was supposed to be a prank on him... but I can't remember the punchline.
